French Toast with a twist

The best French Toast i’ve ever had was in Brooklyn’s Diner, NY. The “TONY BENNETT’S” CINNAMON RAISIN & PECAN FRENCH TOAST was to die for, lashings of maple syrup and strawberry’s to join. But i’m challenging this now, with what I think could be a serious competitor in my search for the World’s Best French Toast.

Chocolate Chip individual brioche cut into long slices, soaked in Townsley’s Festive Egg mixture (4 eggs thoroughly whisked, nutmeg, cinammon, mixed winter spices and a slosh of milk).

When making these make sure you replenish the pan with plenty of butter after each lot of french toast, and soak the brioches for atleast 30 secs on each side. When done finish off with a dusting of icing sugar, some fresh fruit, whipped cream and cocoa dust.

Fantastic twist on a classic, it’s defo up there with the best.
